everyone wants to hear doug's forecast. >> this week does not look good but doug is here to talk abouter ahead. you've got a pretty track record when it comes to the seasonal weather forecast. over ve done pretty well the last couple of years, an i've been doing that for 15 years and just about eve year coming fairly close and this year if we come close means a lot of snow for a lot ofs, take a look, guys. will this pattern bring more snow this winter? i've begunhat question time and tim again. we're currently in line for the top five wettest yea ever. does this continue meaning more snow this winter? the short answer, yes, itoe all the big indexes point to a big season. coming off a moderate la nina last season we're moving into a moderate el nino this winter which means colder than average temperatures and more snowfall, but there's a lot more to look at. believe it or not the amount of snow in siberia in october helps to prect our winters. in year it got off to a slow start and that is really ramped up over the last few weeks. another factor is the sun. this is much warmer than aver
