let's get to chief meteorologist doug kammerer. wn do we get some relief? >> not until really tomorrow from the rain but then the wind comes in behind it. so the relief happens on sunday. that's the first nice day we see over the nextthree to four days. look at this rain. heavy in d.c. buty extremely he in western loudon county. if you're right up against the blue ridge here, you are seeing very heavy rainfall rates, 1 to 2 inches per hour. we have a flood warning in effect for much of rthern virginia. and seeing snow in the higher elevations. even around harrisonburg. really quite amazing what we have going on here. the heavy rain is the big factor. we're seeing flood warnings in effect. a flood watch in effect for almost the entire area today. and this is not just done just. f,the storm its the area of low pressure is down towards the south and it's strengthening now, bringing us the rain now, the wind in for tomorrow. i'll talk more about the wind. we'll take you hour by hour to show you what to expect tomorrow and your weekend. we're back in about 10min
