dover, 33. as we look at the big picture, what's happening is, overall we have a very mild pattern in place over the last few days. there's a small area of high pressure skirting on by running the u.s./canadian border sitting over top of upstate new york. it's allowing the air to sneak in over the appalachians. as we flip it over to the radars it runs into the cold air, it will provide us with light snow and sleet later on. this morning is quiet. lunchtime, light snow for the delaware bay region, southern portions of lancaster an chester county. it's quiet in the city and all areas north and west and east, as well. we get into the afternoon hours, 1:00, 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. the lie snow breaks out accumulating on grassy surfaces. there could light snow by evening, between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. it's a quick-moving system. after midnight tonight, the skies clear and temperatures drop off. that's when we have the concern for slick areas and icy patches to develop. what to expect today, light snow
