she was crossing the road in downtown cedar rapids yesterday afternoon at 1st avenue and 2nd street east. an ambulance took the woman to a local hospital. she's expected to be ok. the driver received a citation. alcohol, drugs or fatigue played a role in crash that killed 13 people in california. authorities say a tour bus slammed into the back of a semi-truck early sunday. in addition to those killed, 31 were hurt. the bus riders were returning from a trip to a casino. the california highway patrol says the bus was moving much faster than the truck.
