continue with our breaking news in san jose, a house fire -- i'm sorry, it's a fraternity house fire, san jose state. this fire clearly being seen from our cameras downtownn fire captain mary gutierrez, san jose fire department. captain giew ter ez, are you there? >> yes, i'm here. >> can you tell us what happened and how many firefighters are there and all the details that you can? >> yes. the call came in around 3:30 this morning, south 11th street, it was the kappa sigma fraternity. a student reported seeing fire in the laundry room. when crews arrived on scene, they had heavy black smoke at the rear of the building. it's a two-story fraternity. when they got inside to the second floor and pulled the ceiling, they found heavy fire inside the attic already. crews did an aggressive interior attack for about 45 minutes. after that the order was called and the fire went defensive which means our firefighters are fighting the fire from the outside. none of the officers were injured. there were 28 of them inside at the time all occupants have a place to go, we've taken care of that, the red cross is not needed. we have one firefighter that got transported t
