let's begin with dann at the bucks county prosecutor's office in doylestown. dann, what are the facts as you know them? >> reporter: well, jim, authorities say it is one of the most bizarre cases to ever come out of bucks county. an amish couple accused of essentially selling their daughter to a feasterville man, a man who then had sex with the girl and sired two children. >>> the case came to light when lower southampton police went to the home of 51-year-old lee kaplan at 428 old street road in feasterville to check on the well-being of children. they found kaplan living with 12 females ranging in age from six months old to 18 years old. the 18-year-old told police that she was the mother of the six month old and the three-year-old and that kaplan was the father. kaplan admitted having sex with the girl when she was 14 and that he sired the two children with her. he also said that he and the girl's parents daniel and savilla stoltzfus had come the an agreement that the girl would be gifted to him. police also talked with the amish couple from quarryville lan
