and dreamliner batteries. >> we are working with boeing and faa. parallel activity going on. so i will tell you, we are going to have information tomorrow. but i think we are probably weeks away, and tell people here is what exactly happened and what needs to change. >> weeks away from figuring out exactly what is going on with the dreamliner. and this is not good news for four cities. san jose, san diego, denver and houston. why is it not good? they all have direct service. either started or scheduled to start. let's start first with san jose. it is estimated that the cost to the region is $214,000 a day in lost business as long as ana is not making that flight. next, san diego. japan, nonstop to narita. discount landing rates, if they don't have that flight, they are not happy. nor are they happy in denver. at end of march, they are supposed to have direct service to tokyo in march. this is real money that potentially they will lose if they have to delay the service. finally, united starting dreamliner service tonight jeera, and london heathrow.

materio could be a possible solution to the dreamliner's nightmare. they had developed materials that would stop lithium ion batteries tr bursting or catching fire under extremely hot conditions. the chemicalmaker has invented two liquids, an inhibiter and a flame retardant. the inhibiter corrects the normal breakdown of the electrolize light when temperatures exceed 80 degrees celsius. this liquid will prevent flammable gas and stop internal pressure from building up. even as the battery catches fire, the flame retardant will put it out within five seconds. these materials will be used in batteries in aircraft and electric cars. the company is now working with domestic batterymakers to check on the material's performance. the material produces 10 tons of substance a year in its factory in japan. they start mass production in 2014. shares surged today, ending the trading day with 4.3% rise. back to you, kelly. >> okay. thank you very much for that. staying in the region, we want to bring you the news out of india, that the indian budget according to a

san jose had the dreamliner service started at one point.to tokyo, the economic impact, it's estimated to be about $214,000 a day to that region. now, that's just an estimate at this point. next when you talk about san diego, japan airlines beginning dreamliner service, or supposed to begin service to narita, and at this point, $750,000 in marketing support, along with reduced landing fees. the reason why? you want that direct flight over tokyo from san diego. denver, colorado, this is a big deal for united airlines. service was supposed to start at the end of march. at this point they say it's still going to happen. but look at the economic impact if this is delayed. it's estimated this service will bring in $132 million to the state of colorado. and then finally, united also planning direct service from houston to lagos, anigeria, the oil trade there. the what's happening for the airlines that said, you know what, we're going to have dreamliner service. for united airlines, we were on the first flight from houston to chicago, they have six
