so today is going to be the dry day.the last of the dry days and then we will get some much needed rain. since september. .77 below so we need that and over 4 inches for the entire year. as we look at the satellite and radar back off towards the west this is ahead of the cold front that's marching in our area and chicago is still going to be getting wet weather for today and well possibly thunderstorms across the area. this is what's going on at surface. you heard me talk about the cold front and this is where it is back off towards the west and it will move closer to us going throughout the day and cross through heading through the weekend bringing us plenty of rain especially heading towards saturday. but in the meantime, we will warm up for today as we have the area of high pressure just off into the atlantic and we are getting the southerly flow and with that we will have temperatures close to 80 degrees so that's actually above average. now speaking of temperatures this morning, i am going to call it seasonably cool
