the line currently ends at the pleasanton dublin station. this proposal would extend b.a.r.t. another five and a half miles east along 580 to isabel, the right side of the tv screen but stop several miles short of the altamont pass. critics say this isabel location would not help alleviate the crush of central valley commuters coming over the pass into the tri-valley. they suggest b.a.r.t. has to go even further to let's say greenville which is the last exit before you get on the altamont. when the b.a.r.t. board meets tomorrow, they have two decisions to make. one, whether or not to approve the final environmental impact report surrounding the isabel station and two what to do next. the board has five options. they can do what we've been talking about. they can extend regular b.a.r.t. to isabel and also extend using light rail trains that run on diesel electric. that would passengers to transfer at dublin/pleasanton and two options involve buses and no rail. the final option, the board could not do anything, there would be no b.a.r.t. extension into livermore. the b.a.r.t. bo

dublin-pleasanton is still slow at the interchange even though the accident is gone. there is a new report of a collision on state road 84. this is westbound state route 84 east of 680. that collision was probably caused by people trying to get around the earlier backed up. we don't have any information about it, but according to chp, it is blocking at least one lane there. in fremont, it looks pretty good. over on 880 in oakland, north and southbound directions, things look good there. there is some slowing in the southbound direction as you approach the san mateo bridge. and the north bay, -- i should say east bay, things are getting pretty slow as you make your way toward concord. the bay bridge toll plaza is pretty backed up. it has been like this for the last hour or so since the metering lights went on. you are looking at a 20 to 25 minute delay to get onto the span. >>> we have a lot of sunshine. we have a little bit of fog trying to get its act together. this afternoon looks like more of a westerly breeze that will kick in. we shall warm out quickly. i think t
