they recently just finished playing the game here at fort dupont.ual purple and white game in dom's honor everyone i talked to, parents, teammates that played with him, coaches, they all said that he was such an outgoing player. he was the type of teammate where if you were the quiet player off in a corner he would say hi to you. he would make sure you were skating right even if you felt embarrassed by your skill. he also picked up his teammates and helped them. you mention this is the third year of this event. year after year it's become more of a celebration. people i talked to said it was a bit more somber a ago. now they use this to honor him. you mentioned that scholarship fund. they've raised over $250,000 and this week they're in a 11 day pledge drive to get more funds. you can see over my shoulder dom's jersey number is still retired here at fort dupont ice arena. and his memory, this game means a lot to these kids. >> and this is both very somber event but it's also very -- it's a good time. it's fun. we're celebrating his life. we're mourn
