we do have meteorologist scott williams he found a cool place to beat the heat live at eakins oval. what's going on, scott? cool air on the way? >> hi there, shawnette. a lot is going on here at the oval along the parkway. we're talking about several weeks of summer fun. the oval has been literally transformed into a park on the parkway. we have summer games. we also have movie nights. there's even a beer garden and also tons of food trucks that will be out each and every night for several weeks along the parkway. once again, we are talking about a hazy, hot and humid afternoon. but these folks are not letting the heat steal their joy. as far as what's happening right now on ultimate doppler, we're right here at the the oval. you can see we're dry. we're quiet as we expand the view area wide the pocono mountains looking pretty good also down the shore right now that's the place to be to beat the summer heat. temperatures pretty much area wide in the upper 80s to low 90s out there but once again you have to really factor in the humidity. how your body reacts. how it actually feels. f

police say they shot their 51-year-old victim in the leg on the 2,000 block of south eakins street earlierhis month. we're told once the victim dropped his cash the two men took off. police say this surveillance video shows the same men in upper darby convenience store less than day before the attack. >>> this video is hard to watch. we first showed you to this earlier a week. a brutal beating in fern rock. tonight the victim is talking exclusive toll fox 29. >> police are still trying to track down his attackers. dawn, that victim did not fight back and that beating just went on and on. >> i know so sad, lucy. my heart goes out to the victim. he was left to die in a pool of blood. and he is telling his story tonight in hopes that people who did this to him will be caught. >> i think they are inhuman. >> reporter: battered and bruised man fights back tears as he describes being brutally beaten by two young men in the fern rock section of philadelphia last week. the horrific attack caught on camera as the 69-year-old was walking down hutchinson street a little bit noon. >> he hit me very ha
