what we've got is most of our rainfall concentrated are in portions of sonoma county, east bay shoreline peninsula and the south bay south bay itself does have some pockets of heavier rain. you're noticing those around san jose on up towards areas like the airport and then also some really heavy rain down in the santa cruz mountains, santa cruz mountains being the big winners as far as rainfall totals go from this system as we're seeing some continued rainfall up there. as for the rest of the bay area. san francisco moran, our bridges, the richmond center, fell in the bay bridge as well as the golden gate. all wet, all actively seeing rain right now. this low pressure area really just stalled out sitting right here with us for yet another day, which is why we do have continued showers into your wednesday as we make our way through the rest of today, you will see spotty showers closer to the coast and a chance of afternoon thunderstorm development for our inland areas. so watch for a few rolls of thunder as we move into tomorrow. a couple of light showers mostly at the very start of the d

very similar to what we saw today, especially along the coast and east bay shoreline. temperatures, though, for warmest inland valleys, cooling down into the low 80's as opposed to today's mid 80's, specifically for concord and livermore. 82 degrees as the san jose downtown san francisco, very seasonal temperatures in the mid 60's. and that's exactly where you need to be for mid-may standard. so taking a look ahead at the next 7 day outlook, we're going to see temperatures transitioning from spring to more of a summer-like pattern on tuesday. yeah, we're going to be flirting with the 90's with another round of summer sizzle, mid 70's along the east bay shoreline and widespread mid 60's. once again for our warmest inland valleys until we gradually start to cool down next week, we're going to see a stronger sea breeze as well. so gusty winds going to be an issue for the 2nd half of the week along with cooler temperatures. it kind of a tradeoff that we get. we cool down and then we get stronger winds when it could happen is like that. so fortunately below advisory level f

so temperatures there very seasonable for for the coast and even east bay shoreline. until we see the return of that. may gray pattern by thursday night when tracker for the we are tracking some pretty breezy winds near 20 miles per hour. wind gusts for those of you in downtown san francisco. that cool sea breeze, even extending into oakland, but future wind gusts going to show a stronger sea breeze tomorrow along the bay area coastline. we're going to see wind gusts upwards of 30 miles per hour by around thursday afternoon. and even extending into our coolest inland valleys as well. so we're really going to feel the mercury dipped for our warmest inland valleys. but temperatures out there right now starting to be pretty uniform with the exception of those of you in eastern contra costa county, brett, would 73 degrees. you are about 20 degrees warmer than pacifica. 53 degrees out there right now. so it's a typical summer like pattern. we see a 20 degree temperatures spread even at this 9 o'clock hour and lena, you're still in the 70's because of those northerly offsho

could see some showers right around sunrise that produce some pretty good rainfall across the east bay shoreline, as well as the inland east bay. we'll dry out after that, though. and the rest of the day saturday actually looks pretty consistently good. so watch towards sunset tonight towards sunrise. tomorrow morning in the evening hours in between as far as times to maybe avoid too much time out there. as for rainfall totals from the system, most of us will be a 10th to quarter of an inch. so on the lighter side of things, if you do find yourself under one of those heavier pockets of rain fall, you may see totals even greater than that. as for our snowfall in the forecast, we will see more to pull new inches of it up there in the sierra nevada areas like south lake tahoe, see another inch and a half of snow. so nothing huge but still adding snow pack and we're well into may now. so that is kind of cool to be talking about 60's for your daytime highs similar to yesterday, antioch at 65 wall conquered and san jose at 64 oakland and hayward. 62 degrees for your high temps today. tomorrow's temper

thunderstorms with some heavy rain, small hail cloud to ground lightning for the inland east bay and the east bay shorelinete afternoon into evening tonight. also a pickup of rainfall for the south bay and the peninsula during a predawn hours of tomorrow morning. this is going to get us started tomorrow with some wet conditions on the roads to wet morning commutes in a row this week, coastal areas and the santa cruz mountains seeing most rainfall potential lighter amounts generally further north. now, as far as daytime highs go today, it's right back to the upper 50's to low 60's. very similar to where we were yesterday. temperature wise. we're obviously just adding the rainfall on top of it today. rainfall chances diminish through the day tomorrow and we should be drier after that point with upper 60's for your highs come the weekend rain. >> john, think that, ok, we've got a few issues out there on 8.80, southbound. so 88 high street oakland, an accident there and to north of 2.38. so you might want to avoid that if you can't find a good alternate and also east 14th, a little further as you're traveling

possible as we're sleeping 06:15am, saturday morning could see some heavy rain moving along the east bay shoreline as well as into the south bay showers. clear out pretty quickly tomorrow. and then we're off to some more of that sunshine between the clouds on into the day on saturday, sunday itself looks to be a dry day before another chance of showers sunday night leading into monday morning. rainfall overnight tonight into tomorrow, amounting to a 10th to a quarter of an inch for most urban areas. some isolated spots could see heavier amounts than that. if you do see one of those brief, heavy showers, nothing to be worried about necessarily but could make some sleep drive home tonight. if you are going to be staying out a little bit later, snowfall up in the sierra nevada bouncing to a few more inches. so we are keeping that snowpack building up there rather than seeing it melts off. why not add a few more inches to it. as for temperatures, it's upper 50's to low to mid 60's. san jose conquered mountain view in redwood city. each at 64 while vallejo at 59 degrees for your daytime high today, tom
