east bay is not in use this morning. what it means, the capital corridor train will not be stopping at hayward. there is a sign up here at the jack londonoakland. this happened around 9:00 last night. it was the coast star light train with close to 200 people on board. it came off the tracks just north of fremont. no one on board the train was hurt. amtrak said the train was going very slow at the time. because it was in an area where the tracks crossed. so only the wheels of the front engine derailed. >> none of the passenger cars went off the tracks. >> it took a long time to get the engine moving again. >> passengers on board didn't arpaio roof here until close to 2:00 in the morning four hours late. >> it is pretty upset here. and right where you want to be. and taking us four hours to get off. >> we could get off the train. and take a bus. >> reporter: now an amtrak spokeswoman said it wasn't safe to allow passengers to allow passengers p off the train and on to buses. it was coming from l.a., the final destination was vancouver, canada. >> i did ask a woman what happened. she said crews are still taking a look at the track and the
