rogers and the victim had worked together at this kfc in east oakland. i have learned that the two women developed a closer, personal relationship. and that sources tell me did not sit well with taylor. kfc employees told me off camera that taylor was jealous and often sat in the restaurant. rogers normally cheerful would not make contact with male customers but friendly with the women who ordered food. this jealousy was the catalyst behind the killing. the victim was found stabbed and badly burned in east oakland last thursday. charging documents say rogers had the victim pick her up and lured her to the park. sources tell me that ramirez had no idea what was coming. rogers allegedly surprised her by stabbing her repeatedly. the d.a. says that taylor was aware of the plot and waiting in the park with a gasoline can, gas and a box of matches. he helped to pour the gasoline on the victim. they jumped the knife, gas can and clothing in a dumpster that was later found by police. police immediately focused on rogers because the victim had told her family tha

where police say they are questioning two suspects in connection with a burned body found in an east oakland park. just a few hours ago the police released the name of the victim san said she was missing since late wednesday. the victim is 21-year-old karla rameriz segoviano. an employer with the alameda sheriff's department and you see her in the uniform here. police provided an update. lee. reporter: well police say that a woman who karla rameriz segoviano considered to be a friend is being questioned for her brutal death. police have not released the names of the two suspects but they say two adults, a male and female from oakland are being questioned and interrogated and they will be charged with her murder. >>> the body of 21-year-old karla rameriz segoviano was found at arroyo viejo park. she had been stabbed multiple times and her body was burned after being lit on fire. >> she was suffering from some burn marks towards the upper portion of her body and she was pronounced on the scene. >> police have two people in custody. a man and a woman from oakland. who they plan to arrest today

rodgers and the victim had worked together at this kfc in east oakland. the two women developed a closer personal relationship. that sources tell me did not sit well with taylor. kfc employees told me off camera that taylor was known to be jealous and often sat in the restaurant. they say rodgers normally cheerful would not make eye contact with male customers, but was friendly with the women who ordered food. investigators say this jealousy was the catalyst behind the killing. the victim was found stabbed and badly burned in east oakland last thursday. charging documents say that rodgers had the victim pick her up and lurid her to the park. sources tell me that ramirez had no idea what was coming. rodgers allegedly surprised her by stabbing her repeatedly. but taylor was fully aware of the murderous plot waiting in the park with a gasoline can and a box of matches, allegedly helping to pour the gasoline on the victim. the couple took off in the explorer's car. they dump add knife, gas can, and clothe -- dumped a knife, gas can, and clothing at the motel.
