if you're traveling through westbound 580 or eastbound 580, listen up.start with the wide view because i have the radar set up for the rain but let's get right to that sig alert. this is going to impact your commute. i check the latest chp report and apparently there is a deadly crash along westbound 580 at lakeshore avenue but because of the investigation they also closed several lanes on the eastbound side. right now it seems that all lanes were blocked but they're getting ready to reopen one or two lanes on the eastbound side, and one lane on the westbound side. as of right now, heavy delays expected as traffic begins to recover and they finish up their investigation but the latest report does show that they're planning to reopen. if you wanted to get around this mess, you definitely want to hop on probably i would say after 14th avenue, take the surface streets all together and avoid jumping on and then get back on after that. as far as your east bay drive times, you could see it starting to slow down from westbound 580 from 238 to the bay bridge loo
