really just the easterlies here. nothing organized but manila up to 32 on tuesday. let's move over to the southern hemisphere now. i want to talk about a few areas out here into south america, specifically over through peru and down to argentina. two separate weather systems have been making for some rather rough conditions. this is first out of peru where we have been seeing the heavy rainfall. caused some severe flooding in some areas out here on sunday. see the students sitting up on their chairs. trying to get out of the water. actually when they left school they had to be carried out. many roads were blocked. several homes you see completely damaged due to mudslides which cut through rural areas. and buenos aires on monday many streets were inundated prompting evacuations. 122 millimeters fell in the past two days exceeding the monthly rainfall for that area. residents evacuated. the good news is that we are still going to be seeing improving conditions. unfortunately, scattered showers off to the north but with this weather system to the south, it is moving aw

and, because of persistent strong easterly winds and developing low pressure system in the bay of bengal, it's difficult for the recovery effort to continue to take place. it's been delayed several times. and most recently the india meteorological department has issued new warnings keeping fishermen out of the water, telling them that they need to stay out because of the dangers. of course the fishermen really do depend on the livelihood to be able to survive. but when they have to stay out of the water, it makes it very difficult for them. and it doesn't look like the weather pattern is going to improve any time soon. another low pressure system is now coming onshore. that's really going to kick up the winds and bring more rain into a region that does not need more rain right now. they need a little bit of a calm to be able to recover efforts. that's something we'll have to watch out for as we go through the next few days. we're also talking about some rain, some very windy conditions in parts of east asia. we have a low pressure system coming over the korean peninsula. so that's bringi

when it's coming from an easterly component, temperatures will come up and that happens tomorrow with numbers easily in the upper 70s maybe some low 80s tomorrow and slightly warmer as we get into the 5-day forecast. current temperatures at 68 in concord and 67 in livermoore and 76 in san jose. this pattern could produce fire, but this isn't going to be the day or week for that. offshore winds will keep the temperatures relatively chilly, and we've noticed a fog forming. we've had fog formation out by san mary's college so valley fog in the inland valleys, it's patchy, but it's enough to mess your drive around. as you look at the forecast highs tomorrow, you're touching on almost 80 degrees. 79 in morgan hill. and there's your coastal tempere low 70s. tomorrow is a nice warm day. warmer as we head into thursday. the 5-day forecast, and there it is, right. we'll get a couple of low 80s on thursday and friday. that's the 5-day forecast. i said this last night, but i hate to let a 5-day go by without having a rain drops. we have no rain drops in this forecast. we'll talk more about that.
