it will eventually move up the eastern seaboard. the hardest hit area will be portions of the carolinas, coming up in just bit i'll show you the latest new track from the national hurricane center that was just relea tracking that is not the correct graphic there we are tracking some very hot weather coming in as we head through the next couple of days. a heat index of 100 to 105 degrees for the entire area this will be from noon until 8:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon and if you're in that heat advisory area mainly philadelphia and surrounding suburbs, temperatures will reach the mid 90s, eat index values around 100 degrees perhaps as-as 105 or 10 sick. drink plenty of water if you have to be outside. try to avoid any strenuous outdoor activity and stay out of the sun if at all possible and as we always say check on those that may need assistance getting somewhere cool a library, a shopping mall arc movie theater all places to go to cool off if you need to. also, storms will develop through the afternoon and we are in a slight risk for

that air mass stretches through the eastern seaboard. we're seeing a disburses swing through that sticky air mass, now it's firing up showers and thunderstorms. look at the amount of lightning strikes that are taken in are 15 minute increments. we're up to 1400. this is something we have to watch closely over the next 12 hours, it's that system that will continue to push east and march through that warm, soupy air and arrives just in time for the late evening between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m. through midnight or so. future tracker 6, not much going on the relevant afternoon, combination sun and clouds, warm and sticky. there could pop-up showers and thunderstorms developing for the far western suburbs. the closer we get to midnight, look at the shades of purple, anne whites. the brighter the colors are on the color scale the more intense the thunderstorms become, and some of these now look like they could produce 60-mile an hour winds very easily a lot of lightening and the possibility of hail. the storm prediction center continues a risk for
