along the eastern seaboard, still some thunderstorms out there. more specifically, remember bonnie made landfall last week. now it's reformed as a tropical depression off the coast of north carolina and virginia, bringing winds 30 to 40 kilometers per hour out there. but it looks like the good news is this is going to continue to move out to sea. shipping traffic is the ones that want to watch this the closest. here across japan, a fairly decent end to the workweek. it's been chilly, near record breaking lows in parts of hokkaido in your morning on friday. further out towards the south, sunny skies out here. this is a sign of the rainy season. these are the hydrangeas about 200 different kinds of them blooming out here at the temple. and they are ranging from light blue to pink. absolutely beautiful. definitely a good thing to check out, especially today where the temperatures will push into the mid 20s, sunny skies. in the west, this is going to be developing and pulling off towards the northeast. definitely bringing sol scattered showers. tokyo

the eastern seaboard cooking with decent conditions and dew point is higher towards washington but even there below the 60 degree threshold for humid air. humidity is in check today. if you were headed to the pool, sunscreen and cool drinks, not all that humid but bright. a high of 87 at 3:00, and by 5:00, 84 degrees there, it is still going to be on the warm side. here is where numbers are going, we go for the high of 87 close to that between 2:00 and 4:00 and not far off of it at 6:00 either. but numbers will dip late they are evening into the 70s and finally the upper 60s by morning. by morning things will start to feel different, tonight at 6:30, you see where loss of the region from philadelphia north still with fairly low dew points but watch the numbers rise into tomorrow morning and then into noon tomorrow, some regions have dew points over 70 and we call that oppressive humidity. similar to earlier in the week. that is coming back in a hurry tomorrow as the winds turn from the south an long with the humid air mass and fronts, some drenching downpours producing showers every now

look at the eastern seaboard. high pressure is in control. we are not worried about any major storms forming. it is hard to see a cloud when you are looking at this picture. things are just that nice. the transition will start to occur on monday when a weak in from the west. but that doesn't do much to change the forecast until tuesday. tomorrow afternoon, there could be some cloud development to the north in the mid to upper hudson valley. don't expect a shower there. but monday when the front approaches from the west, we will watch it much of the day before we get any chance for a change. in fact, maybe a few clouds come in monday afternoon. but tuesday, the next front becomes a lot more organized and the showers and storms will come in, in a line. that way, we can time them as round of showers north and through the afternoon, popup scattered showers. a chance to see a transition with that front. temperatures in the water, we are getting there. four foot waves possible. there is a moderate rip current risk. breaking down the numbers, 86 tom
