writing in a new op-ed that the impeachment is just an exercise in political rage. mark penn joins us right now. he is the chairman of the harrishief, in fact. mark, good morning to you. >> good morning. steve: stick a fork in it. you are done, aren't you? >> look, i have a long history of imposing impeachments over elections. steve: yes, you do. >> unless it meets a high bar. 90 i was against impeachment then i'm against impeachment now unless it really meets the super high bar that the constitution sets and what you see here is just political rage coming out in the statements calling people dictators, cover-ups, throwing charges against everybody virtually but their own party. and then, you know, the whole thing just divides the country and where is it going? nowhere. >> right. we knew before it started, essentially, that it was going -- the president would be acquitted because it was completely bipartisan. and now as we just heard in the report from washington, d.c., it could be bipartisan in his acquittal. that's, you know, that's a complete 180 from what nancy pelosi had. >> i won't speculate. everyone is going to fall out
