raiders in oakland, so the question now is really whether ronnie lott and his group with or without eddie debartolo jr. who maybe involved, can come up with a stadium deal in oakland, and is the mayor going to help, or is she just resigned to holding on to the a's at this point and the raiders leaving? on the vegas side, the nfl is extremely concerned about casino boss sheldon adelson having an ownership stake in this team. fairly certain that the league doesn't want him in their exclusive club so we have to see how that shakes out and i know some people, a lot of loyal fans of the silver and black locally, are really upset right now with owner mark davis. he's gushing about the vegas vote, but what you have to understand here is he's got to say this, okay. davis, he pledged full support for the carson project. he was ready to go to l.a. in a heartbeat, full speed ahead. mark davis would go to neptune if they would build a stadium for him up there. clearly vegas has momentum but this is not a done deal by any means. they could still get something worked out in oakland, but it's up to them to get it
