the sheriff gave us the name of the person who died as a result his name is edward keith harris. he was 78. search and rescue found him not too far from his home in the evergreen area. officials are urging people to please stay away from the impacted areas. there are still down trees, downed power lines.very dangerous situations for people driving or walking around. there are still many without power, about 40 percent of the county without power. they are asking people to not eat any food that has been out of temperature. also, they have two shelters available, appomattox community center and the fire department. our area is a very loving area, a supportive area. many people are asking how they can help, how can they donate. what officials are doing right now is gathering information from local relief agencies so they can make sure people who donate are really going to get their donations to the victims that really need them. she said the community is strong. they're really supporting what another. they will get through this. >> we want to extend our deepest condolences to those
