ef 0, ef 1 and technically we've never had an ef 5 core made oh here in massachusetts. some of the recent stronger tornados going back several year ef 3 or higher with winds are after least 136 miles per hour, this is the most recent one. again this was just 1 in 201 where he had an ef 3. winds on that average were 158 miles per hour. and then you notice these other ratings, thee are based off of the old scale so that's why you great barrington, f 4 tornado back in 1995 of course the worcester core made oh 1953, some debate that might have actually been an f 5 tornado but technically in the books f 4 tornado. so this morning in concord lucky that nobody was injured or killed with that ef 1 tornado, winds at 100 miles per hour. also the first overnight tornado since 1970. for the rest of the week it's quiet. comfortable, we'll talk more about that coming up in a few minutes. >> anchor: all right, you can bet jr will stale feel. now we turn to a developing story. the fall out continues today for u.s. swimmers ryan lochte. >> anchor: so speedo and ralph lauren both droppin

typically they are ef 1s or ef 0s and usually somewhat weaker ones and you saw the damage on top of that. additional straight-line damage and conditions this morning nice and quiet. so the payoff is a couple of days of fantastic weather that started yesterday afternoon and now norwood at 47. as long as you don't mind a little bit of a crisp start out there. we have quiet weather. and 47 degrees. yeah, a little -- little tiny bit of fog forming in norwood. not something widespread and some of the coolest towns and cities. by 7 a.m., we should be up to 55. i think that is kind of wishful thinking. lower 50s in norwood. a lot of 50s on the map. 9 a.m., 67 degrees. by 11 a.m., 74. we make it into the lower 80s there and that is pretty calm 80 in boston and plymouth. 82 in norwood and lawrence. over to worcester today at 76 degrees. portsmouth, new hampshire at 79. for the cape and islands, i expect that we will stay in the 70s. it will be pleasant. humidity doesn't get better than this. i said it almost feels like fall. and you can feel things are kind of drying out here. overnight tonight.
