ellison barber is joining us on this. what are the top priorities into the new year? >> they really have for better or worse a wealth of options. as he said, the federal budget is keeping the government open. it is going to be the big priority. a stopgap measure passed only keep the government funded until january 19. mostly at current levels. but at least one republican is optimistic that january 19 will not be as chaotic as things were this week. >> i think january 19 will look a lot different than december 21 did. passing tax reform did not have a lot of options in the room. i do not think we were able to get the deal we wanted. hopefully not in the past tax reform that we can get on and have a good long-term solution and then daca will be part of the process. >> does it expect immigration to be a priority earlier in the year. infrastructure as well. >> we are working through some of the top priorities. i think you can expect welfare reform, infrastructure, immigration reform, all to be top of mind. something we will look at and talk about a lot. >> congress did no
