chief meteorologist eric fisher of our boston station wbbz is following the storm and tells us what to expect in the coming days. a tree of oh storms. genevieve is way out in the central pacific but we do have iselle making its approach and over toward the big islands, and that will be happening in the next couple of hours, perhaps keeping the hurricane's intensity if that's the case, the first hurricane to make landfall. right behind it we have julio. not too far away from iselle. here's the track. it will be working its way across the big island, then taking a position just to the south of maui and oh roy huh as we head through friday. all of these times, local hawaiian time. them by saturday it's well off to the west and no longer an issue. the winds will be strong, especially across the big i hand. this is where you have complex rain following up. then tropical storm winds in place like maui and across the southern end of oh roy huh and the wind field is going to work its way parter off to the south and seems to be bag issue. we have hurricane warnings up and that includes the big

eric fisher, chief meteorologist of our boston station wbz shows us what's in store for today. >> over the weekend we had a lot of heavy rain across the southwest. rain brought rains to place like los angeles and san diego, places that often don't pick up any rainfall in the summer. now, this is one of the driest spots in the entire country. they're in a severe drought if not worse if not the most of nevada. we've had a lot of rain in short order. we'll track the isn't a little farther to the north as we track the system. reaching up into idaho, much of the great basin, seeing scattered thunderstorms again, still a flash flooding risk. we'll continue to track a little farther off to the north and east. with all these storms, always the concern of lightning strikes that could cause more wildfires. we'll be watching this situation very carefully. also news in the tropics, it's not a big bertha. it's a little bit ragged, but it will strengthenover the nefrt 24 to 48 hours. as we head through today, it tracks farther off toward the north and as it passes between the east coast and bermuda,
