"outfront" tonight, ramping up. the justice department is ratcheting up its investigation into january 6th. according to "the washington post" tonight, federal agents issued subpoenas on people in at least two states. part of a growing probe into how trump supporters tried to use fake electors to overturn the 2020 presidential election. at least one subpoena was delivered to the home of a georgia lawyer who signed documents claiming to be a trump elector according to the post. of course, there were no trump electors because he didn't win that state. but this was the scheme. would-be trump electors in michigan were also reportedly subpoenaed. so georgia and michigan right now. and you'll remember, we learned in yesterday's hearing that republican senator ron johnson of wisconsin allegedly tried to get a list of fake electors from his home state and from michigan to vice president mike pence before the joint session of congress on january 6th. that was being done so pence could use that slate of electors to stay that
