[cheering and applause] and ernie, ranking upton, full committee chairman and ranking member mcmorris rodgers and other members of the committee thank you for the opportunity to speak about zero mission transportation and the clean futures act today. my name is joe britton and i'm the executive director of the zero emission transportation association and a public interest nonprofit representing 55 company interests advocating for 100% ev sales by 2030. her membership spans the entire ev supply chain and includes critical materials, charging companies, utilities, vehicle manufacturers and battery producers and recyclers. at the start of this year's data launched a conference of federal roadmap to achieve 100% ev sales by 2030. this agenda offers policymakers a blueprint to create hundreds of thousands of domestic manufacturing jobs, protect public health and secure a megan leadership in the automotive space. we are pleased to see provisions captured in the clean futures act and additional legislation for today's hearing. my testimony will provide context of today's recommendations and
