we have six government reported to the ethics commission. get them report and audio and a few months later we were told things are missing and to this day there's snowsquall answer. the reason i bring this up is because the report itself is not the row a lot of the report. i wonder how accurate the ethics commission reports reflect the problems we have. i do not know a lot of dirty secrets until i run for mayor june of 2018 last year. i've been through so much about election fraud, about ethic commission's cover up and about electoral officers tha that are% democrats. for example, 2019 this year i went to the election office to inquire information. we had more than 490,000 voters. more than 100 of them no longer are in the city but still in the voters' row. essential that between the election and ethics' commission has the duty to improve this process. i am a director of civil services. civil grand jury one of the members for the san francisco chapter and i reported to you they need to be reported for legal actions and 2019 i found out 5 # 9

as part of our fiscal year 19-20 work, we're collaborating with the ethics commission, and our new hire training videos to reflect change mandates in preparation for a potential increase in whistleblower program reported volume, we're cross training other auditors in the shop on whistleblower processes to address any complaints that result from these new outreach materials. just some other initiatives we have going on this fiscal year, our quarter 1, 2019 report is in progress. we're reviewing the template to make sure the language in there is consistent with the new requirements of the government conduct code and we're looking for ways to distinguish, to get a better sense of how much of the report volume is driven by the new outreach to city contractors. we host a fraud hotline and investigation webinar series. this is done for the past few years. it will continue with two webinars. the first will take place on november 6th. these webinars have been well attended and regarded by other jurisdictions throughout the united states and we're engaging in other initiatives to make sure we ha

so how is our ethics commission doing when it comes to oversight? is there oversight being performed in a timely manner? is this oversight effective? are there best or promising practices being used by other ethics departments or by the state's fair political practices commission that we should be looking to and adopting? when investigations take an unreasonable amount of time to complete when it seems as though the simplest or the lowest hanging fruits are the targets of their operations rather than sophisticated operations, when there's not real-time reports of violations of ethics laws or are acted on after the campaign is over, that is not reassuring the public that we are maintaining scrupulous oversight to ensure a transparent government. in the political landscape like the one that we are in, it is absolutely critical that we do what we can to show that government can adhere to the highest ethical standards and that where we fall short, we have enough oversight body that is operating in the public's best interest to keep government accountabl
