look at where the rain is approaching the north bay, it's raining in ukiah, the rain moving through eurekaproaching reading, this is where the rain has been focused in the last several hours but then it will start to shift to the south. i want to widen out this view to show you all that's happening. we have this long stream of moisture and this is that subtropical moisture that len hans the rainfall, and then we have this area of low pressure that will be moving through. so this is basically drawing up all of that heavy rain, and it will be with us forukiah. here we are at 9:30, light showers moving through santa rosa and elsewhere, we are dry. as we go through 4:00 to 5:00, we start to see more of the bay area getting in on some of that rain, may even start to approach the south bay in time for the evening commute, but it looks pretty much focused anywhere from san rafael over toward napa to fairfield and also in oakland as we go into tonight, and still light rain for the south bay. so where we see the heaviest rain setting up, it will continue to rain in those areas for not only tomorrow
