up, evan? >> we are seeing that the documents have been filed in court related to the plea for these two tax charges. i will read you just what it says here. two counts. both of them were for income of $1.5 million in 2017 and 2018 in both cases, hunter biden is saying that he owed in excess of $100,000 to the federal government, and he did not pay that money when it was due. again, this is for the tax years 2017 and 2018. so that is what he is pleading guilty to, and admitting that he did not pay his taxes on time. now what we know from the reporting from kara scannell and paula reid is that the hunter biden's lawyers have said that he has paid the money. he has sense paid the back taxes, and paid the penalties, and so what this resolves now is the fact that this obviously, fact that he did not pay on time is still a crime. that is what hunter biden is pleading guilty to. and what you have heard from kevin mccarthy there is giving you a preview of what the justice department is going to be abl

evan, you have new reporting on how the special counsel got everyone in this position, right?here the former president is coming down to florida to face the challenges in florida in miami instead of washington, d.c. >> that is right, erin. it is something that the special counsel team started planning for just in the last few months, and we are told by some sources, and the issue here is the venue. the fact is that mar-a-lago is located in the traditional district of the southern district of florida, and that is where the alleged crimes took place, and that is one reason why prosecutors confronted the issue, and something that the trump team had raised if the case were brought in washington, that it would be something that they might be able to challenge. and so, certainly for the prosecutors, you know, they are facing now a couple of challenges as a result. this is a jurisdiction that is friendlier jury pool for the president and certainly one friendlier than washington, d.c., where most of the testimony was taken by the grand jury there. the second thing is that, you know, o
