that express lane opens on monday at 5:00 in the morning. but the two eastbound express lanes are open on dublin and i haven't seen anyone use it. this should help drivers in the later commute in the evening commute. now, the cost of the express lanes will depend on traffic congestion and how far you drive in the lanes ranging from $1 to $9. you will need to have fastrak but free for car pools, buss and vans. you need to have one of the flex toll transponders which allow you to adjust. now this runs 14 miles from the corridor in livermore. alameda county commission officials say it's similar to what already exists around 680 and the one here for 580 offer continuous action, that's the one difference. the express lanes are open monday through friday from 5:00 in the morning until 8:00 at night and a period of some delays as drivers get used to the new lanes and we've seen that in the past, including around the sunol grade. now, there is a bay area wide sort of vision for this new kind of express lane. we'll have more on that coming up in the
