santa rosa has had over five and fairfax, 3.74 inches of rain. mt. diablo, over three inches of rainfall. where do we stand when we compare this season to last? we know that last year was kind of crazy for a while. we had so far this season over 28 inches. so that's more than last year. in santa rosa but not more than last year in oakland, livermore, san francisco. we are very close to last area's rainfall totals as well, as san jose both seasons getting about 12 inches to date. and we're seeing more rain coming in with the heaviest rain moving across southern california. we are seeing a lot of lightning strikes just off our coastline. but a lot of that is not making it into the inland areas. we do have that chance as we continue to watch for the heavier rainfall now moving into the north bay. moving over closer to novato in the next few minutes. we've seen the rain really picking up in the last few minutes. as we go throughout the day, we will see off and on showers. it may be heavy with gusty winds and flooding. it does look to taper off. we should
