, versus lowering fares rather than frequent reliable muni. we see a pretty clear preference here. they would rather have more frequent reliable service rather than lowering fares. not surprisely, there were big income differences. the lowest income subgroups under $35,000 per year, favored lower fares for everyone. 45 to 35. as we move up the income scale from there, the proportions in favor more frequent reliable service steadily rises in households of income. one final exercise we went through to try to understand priorities for the system involve reading list of areas that the sfmta might prioritize in order to improve service in the future. we ask respondents rate level of importance assigned to these improvements on 4-point scale. we ranked them here in the top two categories of that 4-point scale. either extremely or very important. i will note that the pretty much everything on this list stands out something san franciscans think is worthwhile. the orange bar is not too important. are minimal. even as we get to the bottom of the list.
