supervisor farrell: going forward, they will be merged together? >> we are looking very forward to that. to touch on the open items. we are actively working to resolve those. we have resolved those even in the time we submitted our greatest response. those are works in progress. a couple of those will be addressed with the new system. we are looking forward to that. i will touch on the contested items. first, there was a settlement back in 2009 with the city attorney and a list of employee use to allow them to exceed the sick pay threshold. at the time of the audit, we provided some documentation from debt settlement. maine the list of employees and the end result and balances -- mainly the list of employees and the end result and balances. we do not have it on file, the actual settlement. what we have is a list of items, a list of employees as a result of the agreement. we have been falling the terms of the agreement. we have not had any new -- we have been following the terms of the agreement. we have not had any new employees run into this probl

i think you addressed supervisor farrell's question. mr. todd david. >> supervisors campos, kim and farrell, nice to see you: thank you for considering my appointment to the sunshine commission. i think transparency is incredibly important. i think that transparency breeds a sense of trust and so there's nothing more important for government than to be transparent so that the voters who have elected you know that you're making really good decisions. i think that one of the key things that i think that the sunshine ordinance task force could really do is i think a lot of people speaking about efficiencies and things like that but really embracing technology to try to avoid violations, that probably aren't purposeful or necessary, so making sure there's training involved at the departments and making sure that technology is embraced at kind of every level to avoid those unnecessary violations. and just one comment that i have regarding supervisor farrell's question that keeps coming up to the current members of the task force. i would just ha

commissioner farrell: questions for you on the marina green bicycle trail. one question around the timing of it. obviously, the america's cup is coming into town. coordination around that is important. something else i did not notice before reading through the package, you mentioned parking spaces. could you talk about that? that is a hypersensitive area. there are not enough and there is talk about taking some away. >> the construction contract would be awarded in the spring but construction would not begin until october 2012, so it would be following the america's cup event. construction would then be completed by march of 2013, in advance of the 2013 finals. commissioner farrell: i want to make one point that has not been made publicly. the mountain dew tore has talked about coming down to host fleet week. that would be the two weeks after . i totally appreciate you are doing it between the 2012 and 2013 races, but please make sure to account for that. if that comes, that will dominate the marina green and surrounding area. >> absolutely. in regards to yo

supervisor farrell: thank you for having me here today. today we're talking about the film rebate program extension that i introduced a number of weeks ago at the full board of supervisors. and suzanne is here from the film commission, and she's going to be speaking. but to refresh your memories, this legislation. -- essentially extends the current film rebate program through june 30, 2014. it is currently set to expire on june 30 of this year. it appropriates up to $2 million in additional funds for the rebate program. the program dates back to 2006, was prompted by a report commissioned by our film commission here in san francisco neshoba employment in motion picture and video production in san francisco had dropped by nearly 50% from 2000 to 2006. it revealed that the city's high cost of production was its greatest competitive weakness. since the program was enacted in 2006, approximately 1,135 san francisco residents have been employed, bringing over $12.5 million in wages to their households. in 2010-2011, film production spent over $
