[laughter] there, we flewn: the consolidated bt 13. still a pretty simple airplane. at least now there was a canopy and a radio. it had a rear seat. underneath the hood. it was a simple trainer. three months there, finally, i got out of the state and went to phoenix, arizona. that was at luke field, which is still in active base today. i flew the north american a t6. this was the first real airplane . with tractable gear flaps. the rest of it about the same as the bt. -- it was was still flying. it was fun to fly. flew it
