what is fdot saying about the s rush? amanda: actually, the gridlock -- breaking news that literally just happens behind us, the gridlock here looks like it was getting better tonight, but, just on the other side of this suv is another blue suv that just broke down. so now, we are seeing some gridlock, some back up here because the car is blocking one of the key turn lanes. the big newsflash out here is that a spokesman for fdot just told me that that section of 17-92 here in maitland near park avenue. there is only a 50% chance that it will be back open by tomorrow morning' s rush hour. the work started last thursday nights and rather day friday, drivers were slowed to a crawl as they struggled to navigate 17-92 here in maitland near park avenue. the southbound lanes are shut reconstructed underneath the railroad bridge. fdot tells me, workers have found more muck under the roadbed than anticipated and removing it has slowed them down. as a result they give their hope of re-opening the road by their original goal of 6:00
