that is why we're watching the western eye very close here to the flagler beach area. that is the town's biggest area and palmyra north of daytona beach. the power is quickly going out. that is tropical storm force winds. let me show you the radar here, the one we showed you. i want a closer view with the live radar and show you how close this is to the coastline. i'll get our storm tracker tool on here. this is the other thing i wanted to show you, too. these are the spaghetti lines, we're tracking the storm for you in south carolina. it is heading north and then all of the models, about half of them, put the landfall over the top of charleston at about 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. here is the live tracking radar and as far as the distance goes right now from the storm, this is the center of the storm. these bands out here are the ones that are giving us the tropical storm force winds as we go up the coastline, there is palm coast, it is good to know, to zoom in to show what towns and little cities are getting the worst damage and so this is the flagler beach area, now

this is probably along flagler beach. coming in from an angle, this is really important for west palm, because of this comes in and the angle the impacts will not from the east. and, it's something entirely different and, this is important for us, hurricane force winds look at those covers, green and dark green about a 20 to 30% chance on the east coast known for our area. and, the probability of tropical storm force winds, and, up to about 55 because there's another map for that one. for our area, polk county., it will see these tropical storm wins. and, do not expect those hurricane conditions based on the current track. futurecast is a pretty good idea on this track going through the bahamas if it's this far out the effects of be lower than that. for the voters, -- boaters, the the moderate chop out on the bay. and, obviously, the track at matthew has a big impact either way, we will be windy thursday afternoon and thursday night, the strongest winds interior and maybe a few bands blowing back. and as it leaves the are

that 12-foot storm surge has been extended all the way up through flagler county, near st. augustine area, jacksonville beach, ferdinand beach, amelia island, brunswick to avanna. savannah may avoid the hurricane-force sustained winds, you still have a chance for historic episode of storm surge come late friday night into saturday. that storm surge could be as high as 7 feet all the way to myrtle beach. again, storm surge is probably going to be the thing that causes the most monetary damage. along with that, we have to add the winds. the two pieces of this thing that will make this historic is the fact we'll have this storm surge that is on such a huge section of coast, that's so high. we'll also deal with extreme winds over such a large area. here's our wind forecast. this is 11:00 p.m. our computer has the -- this is sustained winds, by the way. that's 74 miles per hour plus. this doesn't include any gusts, which could be easily up to 100 and 150 if you're in that northern eye wall later tonight. this is 11:00 p.m. when you get sustained hurricane winds, that's when the
