there are pockets of dense fog. let's look at storm scan three, you can see everything drifting from south to north and that is pattern today as these storms form, they will move from south to north which means they will move over the same area continuously for a couple hours bringing risk for flooding. that is why a flash flood watch is issued. this is berks, lancaster, chester, lower becks, philadelphia, camden gloucester northern and burlington counties in new jersey and also new castle county in delaware. what does this mean in the flash flood watch? it means we have scattered thunderstorms this afternoon. they are not every where but any spot with a storm could inch per hour causing ponding on the roads. remember how quickly that the water can rise when these storms form. watch what happens after 1:00 o'clock this afternoon. here are storms coming and watch them drift from south to north. look at new castle county delaware. the these storms drifting up in the afternoon. they have may get hit two or three times.

now we're seeing the development of fog. we have fog forms now be a lot of the low level moisture outside. also we have rain that's going to stick around in the forecast as we end out the week. and before the week is over, before your father's day weekend gets here, we have more thunderstorms moving into the forecast too. and a majority of those should come as we go into friday. right now in philadelphia, take a look at the visibility now, seven miles. so normally ten. that's on a clear night. clearly it is dropping. now we have the clouds lowering, the fog is forming. the radar, though, is dry. we're not looking at the heavy rain that we had earlier today. but by the end of the week we'll start to see that come back into the forecast. so if we zoom out here, you can see off to our west and southwest we have a lot of shower activity, a lot of clouds around. so we're still looking at this pretty unstable air mass and it's still moving in our direction so we're not out of the woods yet. we have a knfew more days of hey rain. a

the fog dissipates and the inner bay looking at a lot of fog from san bruno into san francisco and the north bay coming through san rafael and the golden gate bridge. we are starting to clear out, as i mentioned. in palo alto, kind of a different look from what we saw just about 30 minutes ago where we're starting to see the sun come through, and really, the clearing will be a slow process in san francisco. but you'll notice in the south bay, already clear. crystal clear skies. a little bit hazy there across some of the mountains, but nonetheless, looking at sunshine and that's going to mean for a warmer day today across the south bay, after only low to mid-70s yesterday. low 80s for today. and the warmest location will be off toward the try valley. that's where we're expecting temperatures close to 90 degrees. san francisco today close to 70. san jose, you'll be at 84 later on today. saratoga at 86. morgan hill at 89. paulo alto you'll top out at 82 after being in 79 yesterday. san francisco, low 60s yesterday. low 70s from hayes valley, and right near 70 in the marina district. in th

more fog on the way.cooling trend into the weekend as high pressure will be moving overhead now but more of a westerly wind kicking in bringing low clouds and fog. still hot in the central valley if you are traveling there. 99 in fresno, 94 sacramento, 78 degrees in lake lack and beautiful and sunny. that patchy fog will thicken up throughout the day along the beaches and then looks like tonight beginning to move back onshore even some mid- to high- level clouds going to likely move overhead, as well. so with that in mind, cooler temperatures but pleasant. in the south bay in the 80s. 60s though cool fog toward the coast. mid- to upper 80s in many of the interior valleys so still warm there. then inside the bay approaching the golden gate you will feel that sea breeze and see some patchy fog about 69 into san francisco. your sunrise time 5:48. sunset at 8:35. and looking out toward summer, we are going to cool down the temperatures the next few days but warming back up on sunday. maybe even some 90s come

i see some fog behind you, jeff. >> yes, and it is all about the fog forecast tomorrow morning. you can see the camera bliehind me. you cannot see the downtown buildings because the fog is so thick. winds gusting to 15 and along with that, thick cloud cover and tracking areas of drizzle. as we look at the rest of the sky camera network, the temperatures in the 50s in the bay area. 53 in san francisco. in the south bay we have cloud cover increase but it's more of a high fog. what you see in downtown is the city skyline is visible. but tomorrow morning even san jose will be impacted by the cloud cover. let's take you into the forecast for the overnight hours. we start out with the futurecast showing you where the fog is expected to be. the other thing to notice is the areas of green. that's the computers picking up on drizzle in the mattatmospher. 5:00 and 6:00 in the morning, l low clouds. but areas of drizzle we expect for the beginning of the morning commute. but here is the best part about that forecast. by the afternoon hours, that fog pushes back towards the coastline and w
