fall foliage pretty much full swing, the peak of foliage happening as we speak, and we're going to continue to see some beautiful colors here for another week or two before it starts to go by the wayside. so now the good excuse to enjoy it. if you are lucky enough to maybe have scored a day off today, looking for something to do, that would be great excuse to go check out some of the leaves. fifty-three the current temperature at the airport, into 409's, out toward allentown, wilmington, dover, the basic story here, though, is that it is going to be a milder start to the day. but still cool enough that it requires the extra layers. so watching for just few clouds, as the polls open up here really in the next 20 minutes or so. 47 degrees, or so, around philadelphia, give or take depending on your location, and we expect that the daytime high hit about 67, later on, so nice and mild for the standards on this election day, but we mention the rain earlier on, looks like it will return to the forecast by thursday. and when it does return, it is going to come in with a bang. we'll talk more about

we are getting our peak fall foliage across the bay area this weekend.at very nice trees out there. as we head towards the afternoon with the fall foliage over 17 or santa cruz, temperatures near 72-77 at the beaches. will be very nice to hit the beach. maybe not the water, but to soak up the rays. talk about our next chance of rain coming in. a system lines up to our north. the bulk will stay to our north. northern california will get clipped by this. maybe light showers wednesday night. thursday morning will be the time frame where we see the bulk of the rain. i don't think it will be a heavy rain, more of a light mist, maybe drizzle and light showers. friday it's out of here. it will set the stage for cooler weather. this is what we need this time of year. once we can get one or two of these systems to bring temperatures down, maybe we can get into a cooler pattern. you notice wednesday and thursday, temperatures go back from 82 tomorrow in san jose back to the 60s by thursday. hopefully if some of these systems can continue to roll into the bay area,

it played out in a house that you can't quite see behind foliage back there. here is what we have learned so far, apparently at 9:00 this morning, a woman in the house discovered the carnage, the victims were all in one of the bedrooms and there were other adults in the house at the time and when police arrived they found the bodies of a boy and girl. a woman and another boy were still alive. they were flown to the cooper medical center trauma unit. no word from the hospital on their conditions, the police state crime scene unit are there gathering evidence. right now it appears to have been a murder-suicide. neighbors say this is a blended household with two sets of parents and their children. one couple just moved in recently. one woman says her grandchildren played with the kids in the house, we can see toys and a swimming pool in the backyard. no word what may have touched off the violence in this household. but is it appears to be a murder-suicide. adults were in the house at the time and the bodies and wounded were found in one the bedrooms in the house

this is the time of year when you start to see the colors across the bay area, the peek fall foliage.is where we're starting to see the best colors across the highway 17 summit. you'll want to see the colors, that's the place to go. the future cast shows the storm system moving closer and closer to the bay area. this is tuesday morning. you'll notice just off the coastline it will be moving towards us. by tuesday night it clouds up. we'll see the first rain arrive. wednesday morning everyone expecting to see potential for thunderstorms. not only will it be heavy rain but the potential for even some flash flooding and very strong winds. now, if the system movers out of here quickly on wednesday but that's going to make way for our next storm system to arrive by thursday night into friday. this thing looks like it's going to be stay to our north at least right now but the computer model stimback and forth to where this will move through. looks like we still have chance for friday and another one comes in on the heels by saturday. overall we have three chances of rain this upcoming weeke
