every year american companies like ford and general motor build about 2.7 million cars meant for sale in the u.s. and import $52 billion worth of auto parts all from mexico. countless american companies rely on supply chains that crisscross the southern border. president trump's threat does not stop at 5%. look at this. what it does it ramps up monthly by 5% increments until october, when it reaches 25%. at that rate, the international trade administration estimates it would cost ford alone $3.3 billion a year but look at gm. it would cost general motors $6.3 billion. it also calculates the 5% tariff on goods and the amounts of that to a tax increase of more than $17 billion on american consumers and businesses. let's get to jackie deangelis live at the white house. i understand the mexican delegation has arrived. what do we expect will be the sticking points here? reporter: good afternoon, liz. first, as you mentioned, the meeting has been delayed to 3:30 according to the white house. no reason was given for that delay. we are expecting vice president pence, secretary of state mike p
