police in mountain view say officers have arrested 14 people - in connection with a fire in a home on fordham way nine days ago. the only two people over 18 -- are these two men. brandon pak and gilbert gomez. they were both charged with burglary and child endangerment. pak also faces a charge of giving marijuana to juveniles. twelve other people were arrested -- all juveniles. police say pak and gomez held several parties with heavy alcohol and drug use at the unoccupied home. on march 16th, three of the juvenile partiers started a fire at the home they were unable to put out. the investigation is ongoing and police say they expect more arrests to come. san francisco police get a break in the case of a deadly hit and run that killed an elderly woman last week. today investigators announced they've found the white dodge durango involved in the accident. it was parked on the street - in the sunnydale public housing section of san francisco. oi yeung is the 82 year old woman killed by the s-u--v as she was in a crosswalk. people in the neighborhood are pleading for the driver to come forward. p

joining me, michael pepper, theology professor at fordham university. jelani cobb.minister of church and society and reverend paul rauschenbush. i'm sorry, paul. joining us live from boston is jim o'sullivan. jim, i want to come to you first. what was different this year that the organizers and lgbt groups almost had a deal after 20 years? why did it fall apart? >> well, i think it was different this year because you had a new mayor coming in. he had a decade history of supporting lgbt rights. he wanted to put a win on the board. he took a different style to the parade organizers. monino had been different. i'm not going to march either if you don't let them march. walsh tried to broker a deal and use his goodwill in south boston and with the gay rights activists to try to put it together. what happened is what often happens in these situations, the pesky media folks got involved and started to spill out in the newspaper. when the details got out the gay right groups, it split them up and the internal politicking took it apart. >> jim, how big a deal is the parade?

the two-alarm fire happened at a home on the 1700 block of fordham way in mountain view.department tells nbc that homes there range upwards of $1 million. take a look at this video shot by one of the good samaritans. you can see the flames coming from a house. a group of friends driving home smelled smoke and saw the fire, then acted very quickly. >> immediately called 911, and went, knocked on the neighbors' doors. went to the house that was on fire, tried to knock on it, see if anybody was in there. nobody was in there, gladly. we're very glad about that one. >> you can see some of the fire damage to that home, but luckily firefighters were able to contain the home in just moments. there were no injuries. the cause of the fire is just under investigation. >>> a law enforcement agencies were out in full force cracking down on drunk drivers. agencies are now wrapping up several overnight dui checkpoints across the bay area, including in san francisco and several cities in santa clara county. the chp says it made 430 drunk driving arrests statewide during st. patrick's day
