i did want to share some news with you on dodd-frank. it's obviously a very big law, so i won't be able to cover the full waterfront. but we did want to talk about a few areas and provisions that are sort of topical and ones that i think are very important. one obviously is too big to fail -- ending too big to fail. this is certainly my signature issue when congress was to returning dodd-frank. you know, i went to the crisis having to do things i didn't want to do in terms of dealing out and supporting institutions i thought it been quite poorly managed. we just didn't have the tools they need to turn the crisis with the information to do with the situation in any other way. a big part of the problem with the resolution authority only applied to ensure banks. so much of this is occurring outside of ensure banks. i think one of the lessons -- the historical lessons of this crisis is after the s&l debacle in the banking crisis in the early 90s, congress really tighten up in regulating insured banks, as they should have. a guy pc in stronge

there has been a heavy police presence around frank ogawa plaza all morning today. police from several different agencies have been helping out with this operation. i have been told 16 different agencies total and if we can pan over, you can see what is frank ogawa plaza right now. certainly looks a lot different than it did about 48 hours ago when there were about 100 or so tents there. the city is still working on cleaning that up. they have not said exactly what they're doing or when they will be finished. they have been pressure washing and there was even some digging going on earlier this morning. now, protestors say they are not finished either. i did want to share some news with you on dodd-frank.it's obviously a very big law, so i won't be able to cover the full waterfront. but we did want to talk about a few areas and provisions that are sort of topical and ones that i think are very important. one obviously is too big to fail -- ending too big to fail. this is certainly my signature issue when congress was to returning dodd-frank. you know, i went to the crisis having to do things i didn't want to do in terms of dealing out and supporting institutions i thought it been quite poorly managed. we just didn't have the tools they need to turn the crisis with the information to do with the situation in any other way. a big part of the problem with the resolution authority only applied to ensure banks. so much of this is occurring outside of ensure banks. i think one of the lessons -- the historical lessons of this crisis is after the s&l debacle in the banking crisis in the early 90s, congress really tighten up in regulating insured banks, as they should have. a guy pc in stronger
