i'm frank mallicoat. nearly 6:00 on this black friday. we begin with some breaking news this morning in san leandro. a man was shot outside a walmart store. gil diaz is in san leandro where the store just reopened. >> reporter: good morning. just reopened probably about a half hour ago. people are being let in but this portion of the parking lot is closed. investigators still hunting for clues in the case. it happened at 1:50 a.m. here's video of the scene from above taken by chopper 5. it's a robbery gone wrong according to police. the victim and his group, whether family or friends, coming out of walmart with a cartful of goods going back to the car when a group tried to rob them. the family, friends and family, tried to fight off the robber and one person was shot. that person is in stable condition. we don't have his name or age. the group with the victim detained one of the robbers. they don't know whether that person in custody is the shooter. this happened on black friday. a crazy day for shoppers. here's what police say you should
