joining us live from philadelphia, fred inglis, what is the feeling in the giants' clubhouse?well, mark, you know what? it was much calmer. there was some confidence and also some relief in this clubhouse. after all, neither one of these pitchers, roy halladay or tim lincecum, were the premiere pitchers as advertised. in fact, if you look at tim's numbers, 7 innings, three runs given up and 2 home runs, 6 hits. he walked three but strikes out 8 in those 7 innings. he gets the victory. he was at least as good as roy halladay, who of course came in with a no-hitter in his only other post-season experience. but this was about cody ross and so many others. when we talked to tim, there was a little bit of relief in knowing that this was another torture test. >> yeah, i mean, that's the way we do it, right? more torture in the post- season. >> it looked like you were throwing a loft fastballs early and then you started bringing in the change-up. was that the game plan or the way things just started happening? >> it's just kind of the way things unwrapped. i was just trying to make p
