this bill achieve well earlier i was joined by was right so she's the co-founder of farm food freedom coalition and i asked her if this bill was mostly just symbolic. well it was definitely more than symbolic because what it did is it motivated and mobilized people to be in action on the issue and whether that means that they're going to start producing their own food or they're going to start making a bigger fuss about it at the grocery store they shop it really did help to mobilize people around the issue and it brought huge awareness to the fact that there's g.m. most prevalent in our food supply and they're not labeled chair now what's the next step for for this type of a g.m.o. labeling i mean obviously there are four other states have to sign on but is this an idea that's kind of spreading yet it really is and you know i keep hearing that we're almost at the tipping point for it so the generation of awareness that we're getting from from the initiation of these bills whether or not they pass is a huge step in that process and it's really exciting to see it happen to see the g.m.o. convers

remarks from the faith and freedom coalition founder and president, mark reed.is remarks are about ten minutes. >> well, it just keeps getting better and bert, doesn't it? i think so far it's been rand paul, mike lee, ron johnson, marco rubio, mike huckabee, jeb bush, paul ryan, michelle bachmann, who have i left out? ted cruz, thank you. and we're all -- rick santorum. and we're only halfway -- we're not even halfway through the weekend. i want to thank you for being here. i want to thank all of them for being here. this conference team as you know is road to majority. and when we say road to majority, i want to be clear about something, we don't mean a republican majority. we don't mean a democratic majority. what we mean is a profamily, pro life, pro marriage, tax-cutting, fiscally responsible, budget balancing majority in the house, in the senate and eventually in the white house. that is what we need. and, we don't want to be greedy. but the minimum of 35 governorships with majorities in both houses of both legislatures. now, can you get excited about that

it gets better it has the likelihood to get worse was writes a co-founder with the farm food freedom coalition thank you so much for joining us . well it's one of the last few states to still allow the use of electric chairs and inmate executions now florida lawmakers are speeding up executions to cut down on costs the bill is called the timely justice act and it would require the governor to sign a convicted murderer his death warrant within thirty days of the conclusion of the appeals process that would allow the state to perform executions by lethal injection or injection within one hundred eighty days of that appeal process and also limits options for defense attorneys to contend that death sentence there are currently four hundred four people on death row in the state of florida according to the official death row roster released by the state's department of corrections five of those people are women and in some cases those cases range all the way back to nineteen sixty eight if that measure is signed by governor rick scott approximately one hundred inmates who are on death row would imme

he's the chairman of this group, the faith and freedom coalition. he's associated with the social cause. - conservatism but this was really -- they talked about everything. full spectrum conservative issues. i think frankly, the big story though is the immigration debate. maybe secondly, if you want to look at the dichotomy of ran paul and marco rubio on foreign olicy. you can say we want more people, the hamse -- hispanics, specially are christian. maybe conservative means about you're conserving western values and you have to have a strong border. and that you have to honor the rule of law. and so conservatives are really fighting over the heart and soul over what that means. foreign policy is the same time. you have marco rubio and ran paul both elected in 2010 amid this tea party despite guys, both defeated republican candidates in 2010 and, you know, ran paul essentially wants more modest foreign policy. so they're both conservative but which will be the 21st century brand of conservatism? host: and senator ruby, when it comes to border securit
