you used to go right onto fulsome or left onto freemont. you can no longer take that right hand turn, you can only make the left hand turn onto freemont. that means all the traffic coming off the bridge is now going to have to make that left turn, that's going to be the case until march because of this construction. we had a chance to talk to the transportation authority, we talked about what they are going to be doing over the next few months. >> the safety improvementings include a walk way where there isn't 1 now, a bike lane as well as a traffic signal, meaning it will only turn red when someone is waiting to cross the intersection. >> as i said last night, they had the freemont exit completely shut down, they reopened that about 4:45 this morning as you can see from this live shot, you can see traffic is flowing down the ramp nicely. you can no longer make that right turn it is only going to be a left turn all that traffic is going to start backing up at that light we anticipate seeing that as the backup goes along. >>> hopefully that

the bay bridge freemont street off ramp, this is the san francisco side, we're looking at the freemontt before it makes the sweeping right hand turn to what used to be access to fulsome street as well as freemont, but the fulsome street access shut off until march for 6 months because of construction on city streets. so watching this because it is likely that later on this morning we're going to see a backup here that could even affect the commute at the bay bridge tole plaza where the lights have been activated and the backup is already starting to build towards the end of lot already starting to slow here for the westbound ride. for the bridge, highway 92, i just confirmed with caltran that a wind advisory that was put in place last night is still in effect for the bridge so there could be some high winds for you to encounter especially on the high-rise section of this span. for the golden gate bridge your ride should look good with no problems either northbound or southbound, a smooth trip here as well as the richmond bridge where the westbound ride is light enough there are no back
