for awhile cedar was backed up along with central was backed up and fremont. police leading away the three suspects who were handcuffed as i mentioned behind their backs. fremont police, foster city police, newark police and the chp were all involved. fremont police say this began as a reported armed robbery in foster city about 2:45 this afternoon. police say the suspects took off across the san mateo bridge. they were spotted southbound on 880 near central. they apparently side swiped another vehicle, pulled over and bailed out. as you mentioned, 880 was closed in both directions during the initial chase. the suspects were considered armed and dangerous, but police said they could not confirm whether the suspects were armed with a weapon at that time. the four made it about a quarter mile from the freeway here in this neighborhood. but were caught at cedar and central as i mentioned within the last half hour. without any shots fired, without any injury to any officers right now. police are no longer looking as i mentioned for any suspects at large. as you ca
