and you can see some numerous lightning strikes just to the east of fresno near yosemite.t in mind, looks like things will settle down a bit as we'll still see a chance of a few scattered light showers but the heaviest rainfall is gone and the thunderstorms are done for now too. as we head throughout the afternoon partial clearing and mild temperatures. a chance of some more rain looks like late into the weekend probably sunday night into monday. this morning, chance of a couple of scattered showers. we have some patchy, dense fog developing outside too. so watch out for that. temperatures around the state with the showers continuing maybe as high as 72 degrees in fresno, 61 a few showers into monterey bay. about 47 degrees and rain in lake tahoe. computer models showing you the clouds moving on out of town then we have another wave of moisture moving into parts of the north bay as we head throughout the day but otherwise, the clouds going to start to part somewhat. so we are going to dry things out in the afternoon. i think some much nicer weather headed our way. temperat

the rain is moving through fresno and headed to bishop and falling apart.asn't a lot with it and it will not hang on for the rest of the day. temperatures are anywhere from the same in the north bay to nine degrees cooler than at this time yesterday and most of us were mild in the upper 50's to low 60's and novato was behind at 56. this is how it looked in lake tahoe completely different than just a couple 6 hours ago with a tweet at 9:00 where the snow was coming down sideways with big fat flakes and now you have to have on sunscreen and the sunglasses. it will be private and warm. san jose is clearing with the clouds opening and that is the trend moving forward. mostly sunny. not so warm today. we hit 81 yesterday in san jose. 69 today. nice, though, building warm build and dry the rest of the week with record highs this week. you can hear the winds we at the higher elevation like mount tamalpais and concord is 69 today and everyone else is anywhere from four degrees cooler in san francisco and santa rosa to 12 in san jose. we will get 11 hours and 44 min

north of los angeles is the worst along the fresno area as well. temperatures are going to be a little lower than normal, 65 degrees in los angeles, 66 in francisco. onshore flow but forgively we're not looking at wet weather. across the southeast a different story as temperatures rise we are looking for showers and bigly between portions of louisiana and across to florida. across the northeast it's a chilly day out there, and we have a clipper system working its way in. we saw a little bit of snow across the northern portion of new york state where temperatures are in the 30s. 45 in albany. 55 in new york city. with all that cloud cover out there and the winds blowing, some places gusting up to 30 mph it will feel just a bull bit chilly. speaking of the chilly air portions of it are back across the dakotas. fargo feels like 1 degree when you factor in all that wind, and temperatures are going to be right around the teens as we reach into the later portions of the day. this cold air is on the way to the northeast and across portions of the midwest.
