litany of failures led to the plane crash of last november 10 as the pilots tried to last at akron-fulton airport. much of the ntsb probable cause focused on pile at issues. the pilots did not follow land with an unstabilized approach. the flaps were set wrong and required check lists were disregarded. the plane stalled leading to a fiery crash into an akron apartment building killing all 19 people on board. no one on the ground was hurt. the ntsb also said there was a disregard to safety that ex tenld toed execuflight which owned the plane. they credit advertised the company by not looking into reasons why the two pilots were fired from previous jobs before they started execuflight. >> they did not ensure that their crews were operating according to standards and we saw that this flight deck was not following procedures. and so, this organization, whether we're talking about the cockpit level, or the organizational level, it was in fested with sloppiness. >> the in the sincere also said the faa had failures related to this tragedy, by not having enough oversight on later today on news 5.
