look at the futurecast for the north bay. a lot of the burn scar regions are going to see heavy downpours. a lot of rain in a short amount of time. there could be mudslides. there are advisories in effect. the futurecast showing that showers continue through the tuesday morning commute and then taper off throughout the day tuesday. dry by midweek. 1-3 inches possible for the north bay. more so in the santa cruz mountains. depending on the downpours and where they fall, we could see some pretty impressive rainfall totals. flood watch in effect for the north bay are in scar region flash flooding is possible. you want to monitor the forecast to figure out the timing as we get closer. there is also a wind advisory for the entire bay area. wind at 20-30 miles an hour and gusting up to 50. saturated soil combined with high wind leads to downed trees and power lines. you want to trim any trees and clean out the gutters. we have not seen rain and so long. a winter storm watch and affect. monday and tuesday, we are talking heavy snow
