so i'll have more from that coming up plus my interview with josh gad next week that we did actuallyans of the galaxy. >> no, i have. we all have because the first one was so crazy successful. >> yeah. steve, you're so right. the first one made $773 million worldwide. i don't think anybody saw that coming. it was gigantic james gun directing it put chris pratt on the map it was already in parks and rec but solidified him as a list actor he's really a big star now. this particular film dives more into the emotional past of chris pratt's character star lord. the original basically a group of unlikely heroes who were teamed up together to save the galaxy raccoon talking tree named groot. you had zoey sal don know we'll have on our show at 9:40 today. the cool thing this time we kind of deal with his past. we meet his father played by kurt russell and there's emotional depth to his movie that wasn't really in the first one but i will say this. in the first one to me it was more fun, you know, it was more surprising. i liked this sequel a lot. i think it delivers a very satisfying sequel
